With the 8th introduction into the 7 years of the Corvette line, with this new body style, the new Corvette is a head-turner. This mid-engine setup sends all of the C8's 495 horsepower to the rear wheels and provides 470 foot-pounds of torque. Under the hood, the C8 is packing a pushrod 16 valve direct fuel-injected V8 capable of reaching 0 to 60 in 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 184 miles per hour.
